I think the distinction is that football is generating a profit and covering the losses from the other programs...and currently it does not look like revenues will cover expenses this fiscal year.
I don't think that's the end goal and doesn't address the here and now. Of the Gophs have a great season, it should cover maybe half of the overall projected loss. It's the reality of the court ruling.
