Tanner Morgan thoughts

You are misquoting. I stated, based on what I have seen, that Clark had a better arm (meaning strength, accuracy, mechanics) than the others. I also said there is a lot more to being a QB than throwing the ball and I still stand by that. Morgan improved his mechanics considerably between the...

If I searched the term "Under the Radar", I feel like I'd get this exact definition.

    Off Season workouts?

Have you seen any of the twitter videos of Coach Nichols workouts? I seriously doubt those are voluntary sessions.

Couldn’t be more excited for another week of off-season workouts starting this afternoon!! Changing our best everyday...

    Offseason Hot Take

Appreciate the explanation. After reading a couple more responses I figured/hoped that was the case, but still wasn't sure.

    Offseason Hot Take

Except they were never removed. There's been confirmation of this...repetitively.

    Offseason Hot Take

The north side of TCF stadium will be designated for the "sitters" while the south side will be for the "standers". Night games will remain open-seating since the majority of the north side folks are in bed before 9.

College QBs - Blue Bloods or Grinders?

Statistics do not get a QB to the NFL. Think of all the QBs Mike Leach has coached over the years and who have put up video game numbers and either did not make it to the NFL, or didn't last in the NFL. Many times the "system" allows the QB to flourish but that doesn't make them NFL quality...

Joe Burrow decided to transfer after being surpassed by Dwayne Haskin after injury, LSU scooped him up

I wonder if many tOSU fans just wrote him off like he wasn't good enough when he left?

Fleck on Annexstad: “probably a week away from actually being 100 percent”

Both Kramer and Clark enrolled early last year, yes. They both played in the Spring Game.

Fleck on Annexstad: “probably a week away from actually being 100 percent”

My mistake. I must have misunderstood what you were saying. Easy to do on a message board.

Fleck on Annexstad: “probably a week away from actually being 100 percent”

I do read them which is why I was explaining why the gap between the groups and to also help you understand the offense ZA knew in the 2018 Spring Game wasn’t the same offense ZA knew in the 2019 Spring Game. For obvious reasons, there will be some newness to the 2020 Spring Game offense too.

Fleck on Annexstad: “probably a week away from actually being 100 percent”

I’m sure it was a wide gap. Why wouldn’t it be? You have 2 guys who were in the system and learned the foundation an entire year before the Frosh. That’s entirely to be expected. Ask coaches you know where a player tends to have their biggest growth and they’ll most likely tell you going into...

Fleck on Annexstad: “probably a week away from actually being 100 percent”

Forgive me, man. I didn’t realize I had to break it down to the simplest of terms. I assumed you had some working knowledge of football beyond the typical fan. You seem to usually have some good insight.

Fleck on Annexstad: “probably a week away from actually being 100 percent”

Jesus Christ. When you have no other options. Seriously, you’re not this dense, right?

Fleck on Annexstad: “probably a week away from actually being 100 percent”

That makes zero sense. Clark and Kramer wouldn’t learn a water downed version along with TM and ZA leaning an advanced offense. There was zero QB experience that year. They had to water it down early. Last Spring would have been sink or swim for the freshmen. They both sank. As expected.

Fleck on Annexstad: “probably a week away from actually being 100 percent”

Do you think ZA and TM might have been working with a condensed version of the offense that first year? I’m confident they did. That’s how it works. You don’t/can’t throw that much at new guys in their first year. Clemson did the same with their Freshman QB last year.

Fleck on Annexstad: “probably a week away from actually being 100 percent”

The gap we are both talking about had everything to do with the freshmen’s lack of experience with the offense compared to ZA and TM. The 2021 QB will be miles behind the other 4 when he arrives.

Fleck on Annexstad: “probably a week away from actually being 100 percent”

I think it will be interesting to see how much closer the 2 frosh are now to Zach compared to where they were in spring and start of fall. I'd venture to say the gap may have narrowed considerably.

[ It's a long thread and I didn't feel like taking it all the way to the end. But, since we're passing out sound advice, think a little more before spouting stupid stuff. Please and thank you.
