How do they know the myocarditis in these athletes wasn't from the H1N1 or any other causing illnesses the players may have had in the past?

Gopher Athletics has conducted 1,406 COVID-19 tests, 43 total positive test results.

Pretty sure those vulnerable don't need to be around the flu either.

Gopher Athletics has conducted 1,406 COVID-19 tests, 43 total positive test results.

Can that not be said for literally every communicable disease on the planet? The common cold is contagious. The flu is contagious.

"The Feds will provide enough tests for all sports in the Big 10". Maybe that's what Warren needed to hear from POTUS the other day.

    Dunlap enters transfer portal

For those who’ve followed sports for a while it’s not ambiguous at all. It’s well known what ‘withdrawal’ means. Otherwise, it would have said where he transferred to.

    Dunlap enters transfer portal

Withdrawal means removed his name from the portal. Not transferring.

Not forced, no. But an argument can and has been made where the welfare programs actually made it easier for the dad to leave and many did. There is correlation.

University of Minnesota President Joan Gabel will recommend to the Board of Regents next week that fall classes be held in-person and residence halls

I'm not in disagreement with the reaction. I hunkered down for a few weeks too. But, if I had known then what I see now, I would have taken other action. My point being, let's open the classrooms & football stadiums and let's get back to what normal was sooner instead of later. And without...

University of Minnesota President Joan Gabel will recommend to the Board of Regents next week that fall classes be held in-person and residence halls

I don't disagree. But if hindsight is 20/20, the numbers (as overblown as they are) would suggest the reaction wasn't necessary.

University of Minnesota President Joan Gabel will recommend to the Board of Regents next week that fall classes be held in-person and residence halls

If/when there isn't a 2nd wave of infections/deaths as predicted, will people start to understand how overblown the initial reaction was? Bring back school Bring back football Bring back normal Kill racism

    Fleck Spring practice presser

I have to agree with you on this. This isn't an Olympic vertical jump event where fractions make a difference. The 40 yard dash isn't a perfect measure of the athletes speed either, but we've somehow managed all this time.

    Fleck Spring practice presser

Wouldn't the baseline be the person tested's vertical reach flat-footed? If I can reach, say 93"(baseline) flat-footed but can reach 120" in a jump, wouldn't my vertical be 27"? Do you have a better test for measuring a person's vertical jump?

    Tanner Morgan thoughts

I accept your apology...I think.;) Passing mechanics and a golf swing have a lot in common and in several ways. Tanner learned to throw with his hips over the summer and it greatly improved his velocity and accuracy. Think about golf. If you drive your power from the hips down, you're a lot...

Angle? Do I need to have some angle if my professional opinion differs from yours? Relax, man. I'm not accusing you of having some predisposed aversion to Clark, am I? I didn't even train Clark so there is nothing in it for me. Sorry, next time I'll ask your permission to have an opinion...
