I agree. But you also have to build and take what you can get. If you cant get players out of high school who you think you can mold. Have to go elsewhere. As a coach your obvious main objective is just to win.

Oh you dont have to convince me on redshirting. I am all for it if the kid seems like he is not quite ready but I think he will eventually. Especially with bigs, alot havent grown into their body. Whether that be muscle wise or coordination wise.

Totally agree. I think alot of d is will power. Also team defense can make an individual defense look worse than it is.

How was Peterson's defense? I obviously have only seen clips of his highlights, so most were either of him passing or shooting.

He actually handled the ball sometimes. According to Ryan James article, there were times he was bringing up ball and was the main press breaker at certain points.

Or they get better because he might get more open looks. Teams probably focused on him and Murphy. He will not be the focal part of our offense which maybe could lead to more open looks that he is not use to seeing. Just throwing that out there. Could go both ways
