Here's the primary offense I see us run:
Step 1: Player A has ball at top of key. Passes to a wing (Player B).
Step 2: Player B slowly evaluates his triple-threat options. Meanwhile, Player A jogs over to the other wing (Player C) and sets a lazy screen. Player C jogs back to the top of the...
A friend of mine posted this on FB last night after the game.
"Mixed emotions at The Barn tonight. 1) So nice to be there with my dad. Great memories of sitting next to him through the Willie Burton years, the Randy Carter years, the Bobby Jackson years, the Quincy Lewis years... He doesn't...
Another a-hole Souhan article....

"After the game, Williams lobbied for his coach to continue running a full-court press. Williams wants to be in the open court, where every loose ball is the prelude to a dunk."
Yes.
I see the Gopher dropping to #10...maybe #11.
Top 10
#1: Duke
#2: Syracuse
#3: Kansas
#4: Michigan
#5: Louisville
#6: Indiana
#7: Arizona
#8: Florida
#9: Gonzaga
#10: Minnesota
What if?
- #1 Duke loses @ #20 NCState, and
- #2 Michigan loses @ #15 Ohio State, and
- #8 Gopher wins @ #5 Indiana
Is it possible for the #8 team to leapfrog all of them up to #1?
I would assume Duke would stay #1 and we'd jump to #2 just ahead of Louisville.

BTW, Trevor played 35 minutes last night.
Just wondering.
Do broadcasts have to pay for the right to display rankings during games?
For instance, does ESPN have to pay some small fee to the AP to display the rankings during broadcasts?
If so, I wonder if that might be behind why BTN uses the coaches' poll rather than AP (licensing...
The starting 5 on this team are so good on the fast break it's scary. We're threading the needle on a 2 on 3 for a dunk where most teams would set up a play or pull up for a jumper. Awesome passing and court vision by everyone.
