No kidding. I can see being young and bouncing around all over the country as you try and make your way, but once you try the top job, fail, and are older...just retire or do radio/tv etc.

I think it's because they play some of those kids out of high school - 'bama played a 17 year old WR last year and he was doing fine. Plus, I'm sure they'd rather have the kids get their (Alabama/Texas/etc) coaching from the get-go, as opposed to being coached elsewhere.
