    My two cents on CSU’s first round win: Their continuous sets were methodical, but patient on offense. They rank in 200s in pace but upside is they don’t turn the ball over. Also their zone offense was quite effective and it was refreshing to see them generate some outside shooting when needed...

    I don’t see the appeal. Short career as hc; no tourney appearances or conference championship games. I like the cignetti model—winning at smaller levels for period of time. Wicks’ time seems rather mid.

    You’re really arguing my point. Much harder to win at WSU than the U—especially since they lost a power 5 spot. CBJ with better resources can’t cut it.

    My point is that CBJs poor roster creation is not all NIL related. WSUs coach had to deal with instability within WSU and likely, chaotic NiL situation and he still made the tourney. CBJ has no such challenges and has come up short.
