    Anyone See Another Win?

I was a bit disappointed to hear that PJ felt comfortable after the half to back to the run game since they had the lead. That is a "halftime adjustment" that did not need to be made. He admitted that and said it would not happen again, but I guess we will see.

would be great to see them win the Jug on Saturday. That would change the narrative.

Fleck Postgame: "Unacceptable, falls on me." (video)

Going into halftime, I saw a lot of unFlecklike choices. Not settling for FG, taking shots downfield. Those are promising signs.

This Iowa game is a BFG

My prediction: turnovers will play a big role in this game. We will be hearing Blur's "Song #2" multiple times at Huntington Bank Stadium on Saturday night. If those turnovers can be converted into TDs, we'll keep Floyd home.

Big opportunity, no doubt. If we win, that will get B1G analysts talking about the Gophers again.

Tony Liebert: Greg Harbaugh Jr. and Minnesota's offense has heard the noise and they're opening things up a little bit.

There were some accurate deep shots on Saturday that were dropped. So yes they had success with "shorter" passes but they are not going completely away from deep shots. I have to think that the check-down pass to our RB is going to be open a lot this season and I hope we can take advantage of...

Post Game Thread: Gophers Crush Rhode Island

On one of the punts, there was a #39 back to return. But I looked at the roster and couldn't find a player who wears that number. Even the PA announcer at the stadium couldn't tell us who it was. Who was it?

Post Game Thread: Gophers Crush Rhode Island

I remember Coach Kill once saying you usually win a lot of games if you can put up 400 yds and score more than 30. This game checks both boxes. Also passed the eye test. Especially that Lemeke TD, that one was a beauty.

Why not be more skeptical of a newly hired head football coach here at Minnesota and more supportive of the existing coach?

I think it boils down to being tired of mediocrity. To be fair, the program, the culture, the academics...all those aspects have been elevated and improved under Fleck. All of that has now been normalized. We also have grown accustomed to making it to bowl games and winning those bowl games...
