    Week 11 Other Games Thread

Did I hear right? This QB was playing LB on the scout team last week?

Gophers' Max Brosmer grades as one of the 8 best passing quarterbacks in the country

The fact that everyone of these examples feels like 10 years ago to me is a good sign.

    Bye Week Schedule Out

Another week of watching the Badgers get blown out in primetime. Sounds good to me.

Which QB would you rather have starting for the Gophers on Saturday?

The QB stats since halftime of the Michigan game show the kind of talent we have under center. I watched B1G Today on BTN and again Max Brosmer gets a "Helmet Sticker" from Yogi Roth, who says he is "all in on Minnesota" and has been singing their praises since he called the game against USC. He...

Scoggins: Now that P.J. Fleck has a QB he can trust, it’s a whole new ballgame for Gophers

Exactly right. MN doesn't need to run the same scheme every single year, the coaches should be tailoring their scheme to what they have talent wise. Last season, Darius proved to us all that he is a talented RB, but it is amazing to see the coaches tap into his pass-catching skills as a former...

RandBall: An alternate universe where the Gophers are College Football Playoff contenders

Every year there are a handful of plays we'd like back and could change our trajectory. I was so frustrated last year with how we lost games (NW, Illinois, Purdue) This year I'm not as frustrated because I can see how good the team seems to be getting as each week goes by. Kind of interesting...

Scoggins: Now that P.J. Fleck has a QB he can trust, it’s a whole new ballgame for Gophers

So did Mike Locksley. It's like they haven't watched film this season.

Koi Perich leads Big Ten in Interceptions.

I can't help but think about our Safety room for the next few years. Koi, Kerry Brown and Aidan Gousby are the future, and the future looks bright.

Koi Perich leads Big Ten in Interceptions.

According to Ryan Burns on this week's Pair and a Spare Podcast, Koi has played 188 defensive snaps this season. His INT/snap ratio (.026) has to be best in the country.

Highest Graded QB’s in Week 9

On B1G Today on BTN, Yogi gave a Helmet Sticker to Max. Earlier in the episode during the game recap, Yogi was in awe of Greg Harbaugh's play calling.

Big Ten analyst Yogi Roth gives this weeks helmet sticker to Greg Harbaugh for outstanding play calling

Not to pile on here, but I heard PJ say in recent press conferences that Max gets 2 plays called in to his headset and the coaches let him make the adjustments at the line presnap, something PJ has never done before as a HC. Max has proven that he is that smart and that prepared, and we are...

Koi Perich was named Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week

On B1G Today, they presented Mid-Season Awards and one of the hosts gave Best Freshman Player award to Koi Perich.

Vannini: The gap between the best CFB teams and the middle-tier teams hasn't been this small in at least a decade and it makes every week a wild ride.

We've had LSU and Alabama transfers in the Fleck era. Jaxon Howard transferred from LSU. OJ Smith transferred from Alabama.

Help me understand these weird blitzes or something we do

I saw Koi Perich loop around wide and get to the QB too late on a play. It isn't a scheme I'm aware of, that was a lack of execution or timing.

*IF* The Gophers win out, do they make the playoffs?

I say no, especially if it comes down to committee decision. They left out an undefeated P4 team last year (FSU).
