I think that old adage is appropriate here: you don’t want to be the guy to replace Saban - you want to be the guy who replaces the guy who replaced Saban.
I said it the night we played them this year. This year’s Michigan team was the best team I’ve seen play at our new stadium. So good in every phase (though their ST play was wobbly to poor the last two games). What a team.

Fixing another broken leg on the Gopher football stool. A new QB, a new DC, and new ST coordinator - I think at least 2 of those 3 will be a noticeable and very likely upgrade, perhaps all 3. I like that we are trying to address some obvious shortcomings.
Given Detroit’s proximity to Ann Arbor, it facilitates Big Blue’s filming of his practices: delivery, throwing mechanics, tendencies, etc..

Despite all the Sturm und Drang that was the 2023 season, and as I have posited on this forum several times, Gopher Football is the preeminent value sporting event in the Twin Cities/state of MN. To no surprise, we will be renewing our two seats.
