A fun extra…SDSU assistant coach Carissa Thielbar is married to Minnesota Twins pitcher Caleb Thielbar.

According to Raoul, there’s only 463 kids already in the portal 😂 Strande not officially on that list (yet)

Barring any additional departures, we have 4 bigs for next year, 2 of which are freshman.

While I would like to see the seniors get a bit more out of their careers, I think it would be best to just stick a fork in this season and be done. This is just too hard to watch.

So did she think that she’s not going to play next year? Our only “5” at this point is Rose? We’re assuming that either Heyer or Holloway will be ready to play significant minutes next year?

Yeah, it wouldn’t surprise me either.

But I would argue the 1 year “rent-a-player” method is not effective for building a program.

And the other problem with all these grad transfers is that none of the sophomores played significant minutes this year, so we’ll have a team with inexperienced juniors next year.

I hope we can find an offense next year that moves more. There’s too many people just standing around.
