People Magazine: College Football Player Cole Kramer Marries Fiancée Katie Miller: 'More Dreamy Than I Could Have Ever Imagined'

I clicked on this post because I thought it was an opportunity for some funny one-liners by the GH community and wasn't disappointed. Although, sometimes I don't get the jokes and I'm too embarrassed to ask.:p There are some smart, creative people on here...and then there's the rest of us.

If Fleck leaves, who should realistically be on Coyle’s immediate call list?

Lefties and righties insulting each other on a sports forum takes the cake. No one is changing anyone's mind and the other side just thinks you're an idiot. Of course, I'm sure you don't mind if complete morons think you're an idiot. Am I right? I guess this IS sport for some of you!:p And...

    UCLA hires Foster

Wasn't this terrible timing to lose and try to replace a coach for UCLA? All the usual churn at the end of the season is pretty much complete and the best guys are off the table. It seems likely their options were limited so they went with continuity to try to minimize transfers (he seems...

    Fleck is staying!!!

I was actually surprised to see that a lot of national sites had PJ right at the top of the list of possible coaches for UCLA. I thought this below description from The Sporting News put things into perspective quite well. I think PJ is considered a good candidate for good, but not great, P5...

49ers Defy Modern Football -- 49ers have reached the Super Bowl thanks to a strategic twist that's changing the NFL

We're going to find out in Washington...oh wait...the coach just bailed for a huge payday with Alabama! Smart!!! We definitely found out with the New England Patriots. Other recent examples?

49ers Defy Modern Football -- 49ers have reached the Super Bowl thanks to a strategic twist that's changing the NFL

How much of what the 49ers do is just based on their personnel? I haven't watched a complete NFL game in some time, but I did watch the game highlights for the recent 49ers win and George Kiddle, at tight end, looked like he was almost unstoppable. What an athlete! Reminded me of Rob...

ESPN: Sources: Jim Harbaugh accepts head coaching job with Chargers

Good to hear because he'd be crazy not to leave if offered the job. There aren't many jobs better than a B1G job, but there are better jobs in the B1G and Michigan is obviously one of them.

    Updated Player Ratings.

I'm not sure we should, but we certainly can. We are basically equal to them for the 2024 class. As I posted in comment #23: 3) Our average player rating of 87.52 puts us 10th out of 18 teams in the B1G, but basically tied with Iowa (they are 9th). Again, this is pretty good for us...

    TV Viewership

I wouldn't bet Alabama stays number one for long now that the GOAT coach is gone. They'll still have high viewership, but all teams have people that jump on the bandwagon when times are good...or great in the case of Alabama.

    Updated Player Ratings.

I follow these rankings pretty routinely because I find them interesting and have a few observations based on my recent memory, but I could be wrong so please feel free to correct me: 1) This is the second time that we have ever had four recruits - Perich, Roy, Sunram, Carroll - ranked 90 or...

Iowa still hasn’t hired a new Offensive Coordinator

They could just not have an offensive coordinator and pay their defensive coordinator double? They could lead with their best offensive play, punting, on first down and just score with defense and special teams.

    Washington?

It will be very fun to track the success of Jedd Fisch & Kalen DeBoer. Kalen obviously has the longer track record of success, but it's always hard to figure out how much was the coach and how much was just good timing. The below article from the Seattle Times points out Kalen's good timing...

    Non Revenue Generating Sports

I agree we see less sports in the future, not more. The country is running a huge deficit and is running out of money for the basics and we're subsidizing athletic scholarships at colleges? I'll admit, I never understood this. I'm all for academic scholarships, but could care less about...

    Who will replace Saban?

"He (Miss St portal transfer QB Will Rogers) was the fifth Washington player to enter the transfer portal Friday, joining All-Pac-12 second team cornerback Jabbar Muhammad, safety Mishael Powell, linebacker Ethan Barr and tight end Tre Watson."...

Saban Retiring. Was one heck of a run.

He seemed like he was getting less intense in the interviews I saw. He just seemed to be content even when they lost. It seemed like he was losing his fire. He sounded more like a disapproving grandpa than the more typical, fire breathing, head coach, which is what I remember of his younger...

Dodd: With Big Ten, SEC poised to dominate College Football Playoff bids, NIT-like tournament could offer solution

It would be fun, but I really hope these kids get paid for all the extra games they are playing including in the new, expanded playoff. They are increasing their risk of injury and probably hurting their grades. Most of them will not be pros.
