Minnesota Vs. Virginia Tech - Duke's Mayo Bowl - Media Predictions

Basically nobody picking VT worries me a bit...lol

Fleck on Brosmer: "I think he is the best processor I’ve ever been around.”

He might be one of these guys that floats around practice squads for a while and might get on a roster at some point then go into coaching if that's what he wants to do. Or maybe he might just go right into trying to get into coaching on some level. Not sure if he has said anything about his...

STrib: Max Brosmer can cement his Gophers legacy in bowl game vs. Virginia Tech

Good point there. Of course you have to have the QB that can do more than throw slants which may have been part of the issue in the past.

STrib: Max Brosmer can cement his Gophers legacy in bowl game vs. Virginia Tech

Agreed. Talking about a legacy with a one year player is dumb. Should think of it more in terms of him have the most impact a player can in one year. If he can cap off a good season ( I believe he did very well coming into a new system/team ) with a bowl victory and leave things in a good spot...

The Gophers would DOMINATE the SEC

IDK about that. I think they're fairly similar. If I were ranking them together: #1-Ohio St. #2- Oregon #3- Georgia #4- Penn St. #5- Texas #6- Tennessee #7- Illinois #8- Alabama #9- Indiana #10-South Carolina #11- Michigan #12-Ole Miss #13-Missouri #14-Iowa #15- Gophers Pretty Even numbers but...

STrib: Max Brosmer can cement his Gophers legacy in bowl game vs. Virginia Tech

I think Brosmer's biggest impact on the program going forward is if he has positively impacted Lindsey. He's had a good season and would have like to have had him for his whole college career but years from now the hope is he's known for having provided vet experience and being a good example...

    Another NIL mess…

People should know at this point to get it in writing. Promises mean nothing legally if you don't have it in writing.

How would you rank the final eight?

#1 Oregon #2 Ohio St. #3 Georgia #4 Texas #5 Penn St. #6 Notre Dame #7 Arizona St. #8 Boise St. I think Oregon and Ohio St are the two best then Georgia, Texas, and Penn St. all seem pretty equal. I do think that Notre Dame is clearly better than Arizona St and Boise St. I feel like of the...

Hey Jim Mora, name names or shut up

Nothing being enforced so what use is name names? This is something NCAA needs to sort out. With NIL there has to be enforcement of tampering.

    RB Cole Cabana?

Not a big loss. I think he could have contributed here but he wasn't going to clearly be a #1 RB or something like that.

Sorry to "milk" the same video twice... INTERESTING Perich news.

He does have sources in college football. Might not be direct from Koi but may be family, friends, other players, or even coaches.

Sorry to "milk" the same video twice... INTERESTING Perich news.

Yeah, he's not saying anything that's not obvious. He's got the gifts to play both ways. He wants to be on a playoff team. He also wants to stay in MN. These are all obvious things.

Sorry to "milk" the same video twice... INTERESTING Perich news.

Yes. I think it's pretty obvious he will be playing offense some. You can't not take advantage of having an athlete like that and has hands and speed to do it.

    Who Wins the Whole Enchilada?

I feel like the winner of the Oregon and Ohio St game has the best chance. Ohio St looks like they're peaking at the right time and Oregon beat them last time around. Sounds a little Big Ten centric but think the third best team left might be Penn St.

    Lindenberg Declares for NFL

They're not exactly the same type of player for sure. So hard to project Lindeberg based on that comp though I think of recent LBs I have seen Cashman seems to be the closest comparison. I think Cashman is a little smaller and faster but Lindenberg might be able to be more the prototypical 3-4...

All four playoff winners were on home field

I like the first round games to be homefield advantage. give teams incentive to do more than try to sneak in to the top 12. You really want a top 8 seed.

    Lindenberg Declares for NFL

Well he missed more time in the NFL than College so that would factor in. Hard to say as he was 27 before he really was a true starter. I think if you told people you had to sit on him 4 years before he becomes a good player he might still get drafted where he was. No NFL coach or front office...

    Other Bowl Games Thread

Man not really many good games. Texas/Clemson sorta.... I was hoping for more good ones but hopefully the next round will give us that. Ohio State vs Oregon seems to be the best one. Boise St vs Penn St should be good. George vs ND should be good. I think there's a chance Arizona St...

    Lindenberg Declares for NFL

Yes, but he played 12+ games four straight seasons. That does factor in. Like I said I view Lindenberg as a similar level prospect and Cashman went in the 5th. Lindenberg missed more games due to injuries though. Hard to say with guys of this level but 5th-6th rd pick seems most likely but...

    Lindenberg Declares for NFL

Yup, still something that will count against him to some degree. It will probably what will keep him from being a day 2 pick instead of a day 3. I feel like he has talent to be a mid to late 4th but injuries will probably scare some teams away from him. I think he compares to Blake Cashman...
