You’re right. I have always watched and loved gopher bball. This year does feel special. We can talk about a lot of close (sometimes dumb, e.g. Iowa) losses. But this team has fight. I like us for the tourney.

My biggest issue with this forum is that we are not acknowledging the team has turned a page. The way we play is different. We believe we can win every game and I believe that too. Iowa broke my heart. Purdue reffing broke my heart. But this team and the coaching isn’t something to look around...

I agree with this. And I also think winning in the Big Ten is no joke. Season isn’t over, but there is reason for some excitement. Our team showed they can play two-way ball tonight. MSU was no joke and on a heater. We shut them down down the stretch. It was an impressive and gutty win.

Watching Coffey tonight he is looking much more comfortable and when he touches the ball the odds are something good happens. I always liked him in maroon and gold but seeing him flourish in the pros is fucking awesome. Let's go Coffeysnop!

Love his trajectory and in hindsight he was probably right to walk away from another year of Pitino. I didn't like the decision as a Gopher fan but Coffey made the correct one.
