Official 2025 Roster Movement Thread - Who's In and Who's Out?

Posted about it on Instagram on December 13th, unless I’m trippin

Minnesota’s Corey Hetherman new defensive coordinator at Miami

They were also probably a touchdown away from making the CFP.

Minnesota’s Corey Hetherman new defensive coordinator at Miami

If Collins didn’t follow Russo to Michigan St, why would he follow Hetherman to Miami? I would assume that Collins is more inclined to stick with PJ, unless Miami offers a massive raise.

National Championship game tonight - NDSU vs Montana State

Let me tell ya- I was in Missoula for the Montana-NDSU game last year, and that stadium was as loud as any game I’ve ever been to at the Bank- and I was at the Penn State game in 2019. “JV” or not, it’s an entertaining product.

    Last 5 full seasons

They don’t have the brand to start the season ranked and there were two years that they got into the rankings and immediately had a bad loss to an unranked team that ended up dragging down their ranking for the rest of the season.

Mayo announcers may have been worst ever

I was just surprised that an ESPN announcing crew referred to the BIG10 as “possibly the best in the country this year”

    Other Bowl Games Thread

On one hand, Oklahoma was down their starting QB, and that alone is enough to make life tough on any team. Add in the impact of other transfers out and it’s not surprising that a mediocre Oklahoma team would lose to a pretty good Navy team. On the other hand, it’s incredibly funny that an SEC...

    Jaylen Bowden commits to Gophers!

ESPN doesn’t have stats for all of his games. NCCU has more compete game logs. Not a lot of stats but that can be a good thing for a CB if they aren’t getting targeted a ton. https://nccueaglepride.com/sports/football/roster/jaylen-bowden/8383

    National early signing day

Safety room is pretty deep at the moment. Probably wanted to be able to get on the field earlier.

Post Game Thread: Gophers win 3rd in a row, CRUSH Maryland!

At home, on homecoming, against a mediocre Maryland team seemed like a classic letdown game waiting to happen. Glad that it didn’t happen and that the Gophers remain in position for a bowl game. One to go and we’ll be bowling, which is exciting. Pretty weird to see a gophers offense that relies...

Two former Gophers QBs* playing in Montana-Missouri State right now

Jacob Clark vs Logan Fife. Granted Fife never actually played for the Gophers and was on the roster for about a month. But funny coincidence.

Minnesota Golden Gophers Tied for Lowest Win Total in Big Ten With 4.5 Wins Predicted for 2024

That’s neat. Plenty of places picked the Gophers to finish near the bottom of the west in 2019. I’ll wait until the games are played to evaluate teams.

If Fleck leaves, who should realistically be on Coyle’s immediate call list?

It’s not that Birk has divisive politics, it’s that he doesn’t have enough of a coaching resume to smooth over those issues. Jim Harbaugh is actually fairly vocal about being pro-life, but nobody minds because he has a proven track record as a coach. Pop and Kerr also had actually had success as...

If Fleck leaves, who should realistically be on Coyle’s immediate call list?

Rossi would make a lot of sense. Already has good recruiting connections and might be the best chance to keep guys from transferring out. I think a lot of people here assumed he would be the head coach if PJ left so may as well give it a shot.

Rumor: Fleck to be considered for UCLA job.

Whatever way this goes, there will be some very funny takes to look back on when all is said and done. For me it’s a toss up. In a lot of ways UCLA is about dead even with UMN other than better weather and better onstage recruiting, but with a far superior program playing across town. Guess it...

Don’t care unless she can play wide receiver and has eligibility

    Sconnie hiring… Alex Grinch??

This is such good bait you could go fishing with it.
