If they mandate masks and only allow 30-50% capacity idk how different the stadium would really be from say a packed Costco or similar store.
Bolded = The Truth
We already have OSU to open the 2021 season at home. Not saying I would be against it just pointing it out. I don't care who they play as long as they get to play.
That's sort of what I was saying just without the politics part. That if we are forced to stay inside for another 6 months and plan A(developing a vaccine) doesn't work, plan B will be Bankruptcy for a lot of industries.
That's true. But back in march we new basically nothing about the virus. So people were very worried about the unknown. Even though there are still many questions about the virus we have a much better understanding of who is in danger and who isn't.
If that's the case then why is there even a discussion about whether football can be played and if fans can go to the games? Mandate that fans wear masks and we should be good to go.
I find it hard to believe that thousands and thousands of people huddled together for weeks hasn't contributed to the increase. I'm not saying that it is fully from protests but c'mon. Obviously the people going to bars and partying everywhere is also a huge factor but it's funny that people...
I agree, seems like a regional schedule would be better(similar to what the MLB is doing). A schedule of SDSU, NDSU, Nebraska, Iowa, Iowa State, Wisconsin, Illinois, and Northwestern would be interesting.
I don't envy the people who have to make these decisions. On one hand they are obviously worried about kids and young adults getting sick and bringing the virus home and spreading it. And on the other hand they need to see the possibility of students mental and social health being more damaged...
You act like PJ isn't trying to get the top instate athletes. If an instate recruit goes to another school such as Alt decided to do. Should PJ just leave that spot open or should he fill it with a different recruit? Who more than likely will have to be from out of state.
It's a tough situation. Growing up where he did makes it easier to make bad choices which he did many times. Just because he came from a poor situation by no means excuses him from all of the horrible things he did but you can understand how he may have gotten roped into some of these...
I think you are in the majority to the point that people think the joke was tasteless and unneeded(to which I would agree). But the majority of people don't think it was a form of racist hate speech(as you seem to believe). I think this argument has run its track and I'd rather focus on gopher...
Lol! I don't think there are that many people as tone deaf as you are. Considering you have to keep trying to defend yourself against everyone else on this topic it points towards you being in the minority. You must be fun to hang around with. The underlined part is a joke(not a great one) and...
I'm sorry that you can't see how the tweet was intended to be humorous. I think that a large majority of people (whether they think it was a horrible joke or not) can see that it was an attempt at a joke. I fully expect you to ramble about how it wasn't an attempt at humor but I don't know if...
