I am in the camp that the ruling will be the end of college football as we know it. It will morph into a professional underleague and will slowly pull away from the universities. There is nothing to slow the escalation down now. The NCAA was a Scare Crow, but at least schools had to work...

For reals? That is the most “woke” school around. They got rid of their academic honor roll because it made students who didnt make it feel left out. I wont be the least bit surprized when they drop competitive sports altogether.

This is right on. They cant take any finite known risk with a student at all. Can you imagine if there was fatality? And the accusation that they knowingly took a risk? They will simply not chance it. There will be no season. And IMO I agree they shouldnt risk it. Situation sucks.

I think St. Thomas’ endowment is pretty huge. Lots of highly successful grads. That school is crazy expensive - it blue blood all the way. They’ve got money.
