Gard says Davison's feelings are hurt.

I unerstand why you would share this, but in this case we are discussing on the court behavior, for which the coach should be able to answer for directly.

Gard says Davison's feelings are hurt.

I've hesitated to bring up this angle cause - Whoa! people freak out. But if Davison was black would he get this kind of support at UW Madison? They do have a reputation for bias at many levels, not the least being their recent homecoming 'welcome'...

Gard says Davison's feelings are hurt.

I have him on ignore so as not to waste time. Don't you think this will taint the rest of the season for Wisconsin? Gard condoning dirty play? Gard knew Davison in the 8th grade so he says he believes in him. I bet we can find people who knew O'Neill in the 8th grade who would say he was a...

Gard says Davison's feelings are hurt.

Oh, absolutely. Winning justifies a lot these days. If they best the Gophers that will prove that Davison is innocent.

Gard says Davison's feelings are hurt.

Yes, thanks for the correction. Two games would have been better.

Gard says Davison's feelings are hurt.

I sincerely doubt that his feelings are hurt. That's utter BS. Did you read the article? Its clear Gard has lost objectivity on this one. I hope the league is reading this disregard. If someone gets injured (which seems highly likely) Gard can take some of the responsibility for failure to...

Gard says Davison's feelings are hurt.

According to Gard, Davison is now the victim: " He’s hurt. I think we all are. He cherishes every opportunity to compete and to be with his teammates and to wear that ‘W.’ He takes great pride in that. So it’s hurtful.”...

    Miracles never cease, Davison suspended

Clearly he was referring to Davison and is outspoken in his defense. Now, says Gard, Davison is the victim: " He’s hurt. I think we all are. He cherishes every opportunity to compete and to be with his teammates and to wear that ‘W.’ He takes great pride in that. So it’s hurtful.”...

    Miracles never cease, Davison suspended

I could debate your comment at length, but I have to wonder what it is that had endeared Davison so much to Gard. Is it that he is such a nice boy from the suburbs so he gets a pass? Clearly Gard is showing his own bad character and disregard for every other athlete in this league. His comment...

    Miracles never cease, Davison suspended

Yes, this is basically what he said. I was shocked.

    Miracles never cease, Davison suspended

I took my comment down because Im not certain yet he was referring to Davison - that was what they called Gasser. Who else is currently out? If he was referring to D, that's outrageous.

    Miracles never cease, Davison suspended

I think there's a pretty big difference between judging a coach personally on how he responds to verifiable, obvious misconduct on the court, and allegations of misconduct off the court, for which there is a due process outside of their control. In this case we're talking about something...

I agree. To be fair, Gard stumbled a lot as if it was difficult for him to find the right words for the wrong play.

PP: Former Gophers coach Clem Haskins ‘appreciated’ in return to Williams Arena

Yeah, I saw that too. As if could admire Murphy any more...that was a pretty incredible moment.

PP: Former Gophers coach Clem Haskins ‘appreciated’ in return to Williams Arena

We have a good view of the area near the gopher bench. After halftime, Burton stopped by and talked to Clem and Yevette, and there wasn't a dry eye. After a post ceremony conversation, Willie walked away, and the Haskins both needed a tissue. Willie's talk was a great speech that has received...

***OFFICIAL MICHIGAN ST AT MINNESOTA, WILLIE JERSEY RETIREMENT DAY IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

No, he didn't. Who did? And him not having a good game shows in Oturu getting in foul trouble. MSU has a fresh team on the court constantly. They could keep throwing big men on the floor - even so Tillman and another ended with 4 fouls. When our shots didnt fall, we were screwed. Hard to expect...

***OFFICIAL MICHIGAN ST AT MINNESOTA, WILLIE JERSEY RETIREMENT DAY IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

Again, Omersa is playing an important defensive role because Oturu isn't a great defender yet and would end up on the bench early without him in the game. And Demir isnt either and isnt going to be. I'm sure Pitino hopes the ball doesnt end up in his hands except from an alley-oop. Chambers...

***OFFICIAL MICHIGAN ST AT MINNESOTA, WILLIE JERSEY RETIREMENT DAY IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

If Oturu & Demir could play better defense, Omersa wouldnt be in the game. Look at Oturu's record last year regarding foul trouble. Oturu spent very little time guarding Tillman because that is where his game still needs to develop.
