I’m still working on PTS from all the players the previous administration brought in who I never heard of. I’m seeing a pattern of guys who are good shooters and are reported to have some quickness, two traits we haven’t seen an abundance of recently.

Agreed. His advantage at McNeese was that he had much better players than the rest of the conference. I’m speculating that Self is in the same boat. His advantage has disappeared with legalized cheating. We’ll see with Wade. His chances are better in ACC than Big Ten or SEC.

I’m not a zero sum guy, but if that kind of money is going into college sports salaries, there have to be a lot of other organizations that rely on voluntary contributions that are going to lose out on what they may have gotten before.

No. It’s not real. It can’t be. I have no numbers but I would bet that less than half of D1 players will get paid and only a small percentage of those who do will get life changing money. As one who helps pay those bills with ticket purchases and tv subscriptions, I want to see those numbers.
