Big Ten QB Power Rankings: Post-spring tiers for every B1G QB room (Very worrisome: Minnesota (Drake Lindsey))

Yeah, that's what I meant by in theory, you could make an argument there is less of a direct path. Those two guys were beat out at previous stops. I think the biggest sign that Lindsey essentially "won" the job is that the staff didn't bring in real competition like a Brosmer type.

Big Ten QB Power Rankings: Post-spring tiers for every B1G QB room (Very worrisome: Minnesota (Drake Lindsey))

Before the portal, our "next man up" this season would be the best QB between Kaliakmanis, Knuth, Viotto or Lindsay. It's a different world now in that Lindsay's path is less earned (in theory).

Big Ten QB Power Rankings: Post-spring tiers for every B1G QB room (Very worrisome: Minnesota (Drake Lindsey))

I have a lot of faith in Lindsey, the staff seems super high on him, he seemed to be being out experienced people, and I just don't think PJ wouldn't look for a portal starter if PJ didn't think he was going to be good. All of that said, if I'm betting money, the OSU QB - whoever it will be -...

Is Darius Taylor clearly the best RB in the Big Ten?

Singleton and Allen are both really good. I've never seen the kid from Oregon play but he put up monster numbers at Tulane and was a really high rated transfer, so I'm sure he can play too.

Gregg Popovich - Steps Down as HC

My reading comprehension is pretty good, you just can't type. Look at how you communicate and look at how other adults communicate, it's alarming. I read your post, but the entire conversation is over your head. Someone pointed out that drafting Duncan was a no-brainer and you brought up these...

All Things 2024-25 Minnesota Timberwolves In-Season Thread

I honestly think our plan was to use his expiring this summer as a trade piece and add more flexibility. But luckily for us, he has shown to be much more valuable than that. 5/$150 sounds about right. I think at that point, you do it. If you can make it 3/$120, I might like it more.

Oh gotcha. I liked the Rudy trade at the time but if we had known Walker Kessler was going to be Walker Kessler, that would have been pretty nice for our future. Close call.

Gregg Popovich - Steps Down as HC

That's just luck. Every single team was going to pick Tim Duncan #1 overall. It was automatic. Just like the Zion season, every single team was going to pick Zion #1 overall. It was automatic. It wasn't a wiser decision by the Spurs than it was by the Pelicans. They were both no-brainers...

Gregg Popovich - Steps Down as HC

Robinson, Wemby, and Duncan were the easiest picks in the world. I'll give them credit for Kawhi, Manu, and Parker.

All Things 2024-25 Minnesota Timberwolves In-Season Thread

Yeah, for what we needed, we won the trade but that doesn't mean New York lost. They needed another primary scorer. The trade gives us flexibility. Randle has been amazing this post season but KAT was a much better player during the year. The funny thing is that Randle's play has been so good...

    Interesting baseball stats

Tom Brady was the last active professional athlete drafted by the Expos. There are 2 different unrelated 6-foot-4 red-headed and bearded minor league pitchers with glasses that have had Tommy John surgery named Brady Feigl Bob Gibson had more complete games (255) than wins (251). After...

    Rutgers

Good info. Yeah, his stock could drop. I remember back in the day before Givony was hired by ESPN, he used to run his own website and they'd post the actual heights of players and it was crazy how some folks "rounded up".

    2025 Transfer Portal Watch

Good. I'm sick of seeing this game being dominated by international players.

    Rutgers

You're not wrong but I'm just pointed out that his ceiling is so high that a 18 points and 8 rebounds for a 6'10" FR is considered "meh" production. He doesn't really feel like a Morey guy though.

Pete Rose, 'Shoeless' Joe Jackson among players reinstated by MLB

I don't think they apply those criteria in a way that makes any sense. The fact that baseball writers hold the Hall of Fame over people's head is just bizarre to me. They've clung on this one thing as an act of power and not integrity (IMO). Baseball banned steroids in 1991. They did not...

    Interesting baseball stats

Most of these came into my feed on youtube but I thought they were interesting. Greg Maddux faced 20,421 batters in his life time. Only 310 ever saw a 3-0 count. Of that 310, 177 were intentional walks. Not counting batters who were intentionally walked, Greg Maddux faced 8,025 batters during...

Pete Rose, 'Shoeless' Joe Jackson among players reinstated by MLB

I would have less of a problem with Cooperstown if they simply wiped them out of the record books. I just don't get how you don't put the player in, but you display the Barry Bonds 756 homerun ball. They have the helmet her wore to tie Aaron at 755. The MLB (including MLB sportswriters who...

Pete Rose, 'Shoeless' Joe Jackson among players reinstated by MLB

No, I know. My post is more a condemnation of the BBWAA. They let cheaters in the hall like Gaylord Perry. they let massive aholes in the Hall like Ty Cobb, and they have Bonds memorabilia throughout the Hall.

Pete Rose, 'Shoeless' Joe Jackson among players reinstated by MLB

They should either pull all of the Barry Bonds memorabilia out of the HOF or put him in. He's the best player of all time and it's not close. I saw this on youtube the other day: If you were to take away Barry Bonds of all of his stats from his 7 MVP Seasons he would still have 440 homers and...
