Winning the division still would get you into the playoffs automatically. Probably doesn’t come into play as much with so many playoff teams though. It has happened in the past where a team only made the playoffs because they won their division.

So even if we say the MN teams only had a 33% chance of winning any of those games/series, the chances of going 0-8 is like 4%.

I'm in the minority and hate that division winners guarantee a top 4 seed. Teams can't control how good or bad their division is. And winning a division of 4 teams is not much of an accomplishment IMO. The Vikings accomplished more last year during the regular season than Tampa or the Rams did...
