You got to take anything draft related about Gophees with a grain of salt on this site. A lot of passion for the team which is great but, the pro predictions for Gophs is much read comedy.

He probably has a better chance to excel than those guys. But less of a chance to be a solid backup. QB’s then 2nd round are kind of what is in the eye of the beholder.

I think he would have been a 5th round pick. Just minus the conspiracy theories as to why he wasn’t a 1st round pick.

I'd be more worried about his talent than his antics. You watch games he comes off as an old school WAC or MWC QB. Flinging it all over the place against overmatched DB's on bad teams and then when it came time to play real defenses, it was less than impressive.

The bigger issue was his skills not his character. He doesn't have a great arm and put up big numbers against bad teams and really struggled against quality competition. He just isn't a very good prospect.

The Vikings have to try to win games. Not just take Gophers. Every year the Gopher diehards don’t get why the Vikings don’t just draft Gophers. It is pretty simple. That’s not how you win in the NFL.

Absolutely agree. Holding the ball waiting for wide open windows and receivers was what he did last year. Not the easiest thing to become good at.

Injury problems the last couple of years but his stuff is amazing.

That might very well be true, but if USAF finds out you are talking about something his doesn’t like to talk about, there will be hell to pay.
