Every Throw From Our QB AK8 in 2023

Our O line did not look elite at all times. Some of his issues were due to early pressure. On the other hand he also had some poor throws on those times when he got to sit in pocket.

    Bench scoring (and minutes)

Remember last year when everyone was complaining that Ben could only play 5 players and did not know how to manage the roster and distribute minutes effectively. A year and deeper talent has changed that perception. 14/15 is not random. "Minnesota continues to show its depth winning the...

    A season on the brink

Seriously, it does make you appreciate Ben a little more. What he is trying to do is a lot different than that.

HOF'er Lindsay Whalen Tweets (X) 'Huge win!!' After Michigan Victory

Nice, the sophomore class was her recruiting class and their loyalty to the program has a lot to do with her. Even players who knew that a coaching change was necessary appreciated her effort and commitment and their freshman year experience. None of the players ever threw her under the bus.

Countdown Completed, Elijah Hawkins Sets Season Assist Record - 211 And Counting

Ta'lon is a great passer. Just not quick enough to take someone off dribble or penetrate. Hawk excels in those areas with his ultra quickness. Hawk also is a much better 3 point shooter. Happy that Ta'lon is doing well at South Carolina but There is no comparison. Hawk also is so much more...

STrib: Is Gophers backcourt Big Ten ready? Elijah Hawkins, Mike Mitchell Jr. lead the way

It might have made more sense to bellyache about the column BEFORE the Michigan game was played. Based on that one game sample, Marcus piece seems pretty prophetic. It does look like the new backcourt is BIG ready, capable of competing in BIG - and may start to gain some national attention...

The Coloradoan: Root for Minnesota to Keep Winning

That beating in the " secret" scrimmage with CSU does not look so bad. CSU is 13-1. Ranked #13. CSU has beaten Boston College 86-74, Colorado 88-83, Creighton 69-49, Washington 86-81, and most recently New Mexico 76-68. Only loss to St. Mary's Ca 64-61 back on December 9.

Hawk finishes 2nd in D1 in assists with a 7.5 apg and we were 15th in the country at 17.3

That is always a good point. It is a wonderful game when played well. That doesn't mean you win all your games. If you play a good schedule against equal talent you can play good basketball and still lose games based on opponent hot shooting, calls against you, bounce of the ball, opponent...

Hawk finishes 2nd in D1 in assists with a 7.5 apg and we were 15th in the country at 17.3

And even though Cooper is a big guard, quick guards could walk right around him. Hawkins is a super QUICK guard and has higher potential on the defensive side, especially in pressuring opponents out on the periphery. That is the way I see it anyway. His defense in the Michigan game was much...

Hawk finishes 2nd in D1 in assists with a 7.5 apg and we were 15th in the country at 17.3

I can do that. Hawkins has 108 assists in 418 minutes or 1 assist per 3.87 minutes of playing time. Holloman has 47 assists in 267 minutes or 1 assist per 5.68 minutes of playing time. Cooper has 58 assists in 412 minutes or 1 assist per 7.1 minutes of playing time. Hawk's numbers are...

Hawk finishes 2nd in D1 in assists with a 7.5 apg and we were 15th in the country at 17.3

On that list of top A/TO numbers Tre Holloman is #4 with 5.12 ratio and Ta'lon Cooper is #7 with 4.15 ration. Elijah is #43 with 2.87 ratio but that is steadily increasing. And I like the 101 total assists as compared to 41 for Tre and 58 for Ta'lon. Elijah has more assists than those two...

I asked a Bowling Green reporter six questions...

Most impressive is that the five teams that beat them were a combined 57-7. We have not has that kind of a season. In fact we have lost 7 games all on our own.

    Parker Fox

Parker led all of D2 (MORE THAN 300 TEAMS) in dunks his last year at northern states. Is it a big surprise that he is getting a lot of his points on dunks (6 total in this most recent game). Dunks are a fun piece of the game too, they add energy for one thing. JOJ dunks are great. For the...

    Parker Fox

Another thing about Parker. He LOVES basketball. Loves to think about it, loves to practice, loves to play, loves to perform, brings big positive energy. You can tell that Hawkins (and others) love to be on the floor with him. I think he could be a great coach down the road.

    Parker Fox

That is the closest he has looked to his last two seasons at Northern State (which earned him 50 D1 offers entering the portal). After two years off he is only 10 games into his return and his trajectory is still up. He looks athletic and increasingly so, and his game day basketball reflexes...
