Ranking the Head Coaches in the Big Ten (9. PJ Fleck, Minnesota)

I'd put him above the Nebraska coach personally.

Ranking the Head Coaches in the Big Ten (9. PJ Fleck, Minnesota)

Fair. He's 8-10 the last two years also. I think cherry picking years is kinda weak. I say this as someone who likes PJ and has defended him on here lots of times. Regardless most rational people would agree he's a good coach and very good for the Gopher program.

Ranking the Head Coaches in the Big Ten (9. PJ Fleck, Minnesota)

This list comes out every year, and every year people complain about where Fleck is ranked. I like Fleck a lot. He is under .500 in the Big Ten, to me that seems like somewhere between 8th and 10th is fair. He does do more with less talent, but he's partially responsible for the talent level.

    Fire Ben Johnson

Fair. Brew was 6-21 in conference Johnson is 19-52 in conference So Ben has a better winning %. I did forget how bad Brew's first season was. Regardless I think we can both agree they are bad, bad hires.

    Fire Ben Johnson

To be fair the two bowl games he went to were shit and he had losing B10 records. Was similar to the year Gopher BB had last season. All that said I would agree Brew was a better hire. Wacker was a real bad one too.

Reusse: Unlike the Gophers’ coaching situation, the solution for Williams Arena is simple: Blow up The Barn

Totally agree. As someone who really likes PJ, and even with some sustained success, there is little demand to add more seats. I think 9k would be perfect for BB, and around 50K is good for FB.

RB Ky Thomas transferred from MN to Kansas to Kent State to Washburn.

I thought AK was going to be great and that Brosmer was average at best.

Ryan Day gets 7 year extension, $12.5MM per year

I would guess if they lost the first round playoff game he would have been gone.

Max Brosmer 2025 NFL Draft: Scouting Report For Minnesota Golden Gophers QB

I would venture to bet that I had more positive posts than negative ones. But ok. I own the team was better than I thought they would be. I think PJ gets a lot out of the talent he has yes.

Max Brosmer 2025 NFL Draft: Scouting Report For Minnesota Golden Gophers QB

Lol great research. He was playing crappy. But I guess you are 100% right. But don’t go back to all my posts when I said he was playing good later in that same thread. My whole argument was you could be good one half and bad one half.

    Dammit, Martes Lewis is transferring!

Max Brosmer 2025 NFL Draft: Scouting Report For Minnesota Golden Gophers QB

I made many comments about his poor deep passing and was ridiculed for it.

Big Ten Tournament if it were held today; Gophers currently hold a spot

What if it’s one game better.but no NCAA tournament?

Big Ten Tournament if it were held today; Gophers currently hold a spot

I'd agree its just entertainment. Maybe used the wrong wording.

Minnesota’s Corey Hetherman new defensive coordinator at Miami

Yep. No one here counts 2020. Now if we had gone 6-1 everyone would count it

    Roman Voss

I think its good there are lots of offers out there. Means he is a good player. Up to PJ to keep him.
