He was a good player for us and I enjoyed watching him play. Hopefully he has success at Indy. Being picked in the 3rd round usually means they expect you to be on the field as a rookie.

Totally agree. If he was not good enough to get on the field he's most likely not a game changing player. Not like we were loaded with talent outside of DJ.

I would say I doubt that Smith is a better player than Perich. He's good, but Perich is special. Taylor has parts of 2 great seasons but needs to stay healthy. I would guess if he would have been 100% his first two years he would be a top 3-5 RB in the nation right now.

I'll say this about AK - he did look pretty good in limited play when Morgan was injured and EVERYONE thought he was going to be excellent. He was a no brainer to start in 2023. He did not live up to expectations and I was really disappointed in his play, but he was a no brainer starter going...

I'd agree with you. He could have left 4-5 years ago and had same legend status. He was getting a bit hard to watch at the end. Tough call for a network to make to remove someone of his status though.

He's more objective than the board. I do think a couple of those are low though. I'd bet on 4-5 Gophers getting drafted and AE going earlier than 105 overall.
