    Walley to Colts

Was kind of surprised he was getting lower grades. Hopefully this ends up being a great fit for him.

Kordell Stewart doesn’t have his number retired. He won two bowl games and finished in the top 10 twice. But he wasn’t the coach's son. 🤷‍♂️

I'm not shocked he has slid in the draft but no way did I think he would still be sitting there in round 3. Awesome.....clearly NFL teams don't think he is as special as he thinks he is. Teams with a desperate need at QB passing on him multiple times.

Emmett Morehead (ODU QB) Transfers to the Gophers

Going to be a pretty tough sell when you don't have a starting spot to offer. Have to find someone willing to come in and be a backup.

Dawson Garcia Entering The Transfer Portal

That's true but the numbers in the contract are legit at least. The player might not earn all that money but they aren't plucked out of thin air either the way it feels like a lot of NIL/Pay for Play numbers are.

Guessing there are lots but you don't have to look far for an example. Our very own Bruce Smith was a 13th round pick. But it does make the whole jersey retirement thing at Colorado look even more foolish when Coach Prime wanted to pretend like Hunter and Shadeur deserved to be viewed the same...

Longest Active Droughts Without an NFL 1st Round Pick (Power 4) - Nebraska, 13 years!!

Heck the number one pick in the draft Cam Ward spent 2 seasons with Incarnate Word, 2 with Washington State and just 1 with Miami. Yet Miami is the team that he will be associated with.

Longest Active Droughts Without an NFL 1st Round Pick (Power 4) - Nebraska, 13 years!!

That is actually a really interesting byproduct of the transfer portal era. The team that is going to get credit for the draft pick will be the final school but there will be lots of players that spent the majority of their college career somewhere else. This will be especially true on the...

Kordell Stewart doesn’t have his number retired. He won two bowl games and finished in the top 10 twice. But he wasn’t the coach's son. 🤷‍♂️

That is a good point. Will be interesting to see how he handles playing for a coach that doesn't give him preferential treatment the way daddy does. It would be fascinating to see video of these disastrous interviews he has reportedly had with multiple teams. Sounds like he just comes across...

Kordell Stewart doesn’t have his number retired. He won two bowl games and finished in the top 10 twice. But he wasn’t the coach's son. 🤷‍♂️

It will be really interesting to see where he ends up. At some point the investment is low enough to gamble on the talent but I know if I was a GM I wouldn't want to invest a ton into him. Johnny Manziel's name is getting tossed around a lot when people talk about Shadeur and I can totally see...

Kordell Stewart doesn’t have his number retired. He won two bowl games and finished in the top 10 twice. But he wasn’t the coach's son. 🤷‍♂️

Will be interesting to see where he finally goes. They will try and spin it but there is no way they are not pissed that he didn't go in the first round. Looking like the story that came out about the disastrous interviews with Shadeur were real and not some team just blowing smoke to try and...

Don't look now....Falcons just traded with the Rams and we know they love to take QBs....:) But yeah....looks like Shadeur is headed for round 2....wonder which team will end up wasting their pick on him? So glad it won't be the Vikings.

Shadeur sliding in the draft....has massive bust potential written all over him.....but hey....at least Daddy made him feel special by retiring his college jersey.......lol.....

Official 2025 Roster Movement Thread - Who's In and Who's Out?

Can't see them carrying 4 punters so would make sense if maybe Ryerse is focusing on baseball or something like that. Hopefully this doesn't mean McGrath is out of the mix but might be the case.

Gophers land a big man....... 6' 10" Nehemiah Turner

lol....nearly every clip in the video was him working a few feet from the basket.....Dude is 6'10" were you expecting him to look like a speed demon moving on the court? He looked like a pretty typical big bodied tall guy to me.

Iowa DB transfers to the good guys on Easter!

Not really the same though since Benhart never came here. Much harder to see a player transfer to a conference foe than to see one go there out of high school.

Gophers land a big man....... 6' 10" Nehemiah Turner

Nice to see some additional size added to the roster. Added perk that he is young however in this day and age it is tough to count on anyone sticking around so who knows if we will actually get multiple years out of him.

While not a guarantee a transfer will be successful I have noticed that over the past two seasons we are landing a lot more power 4 transfers then we used to.

Dawson Garcia Entering The Transfer Portal

In the end I think if Garcia was eligible to come back and wanted to play here there would be very few posters that would truly not want him back on the team next year. I'm sure there would be a few but most would gladly welcome him back because he is a really good player and would definitely...

Iowa DB transfers to the good guys on Easter!

Going to trust our coaches more than Iowa fans....he very well might just be a special teams player or reserve but coaches felt he was worth a roster spot so they saw something they liked about him enough to bring him on board.
