Western Conference Finals Minnesota Timberwolves vs Oklahoma City Thunder

Right there with you the best two teams for playoff basketball are left in the West. Not picking us to win, but if any team is going to have the best chance to beat okc, my pick would be mn

None of those guys would start in MN

You can’t just look at height. OKC has incredible length ( it’s part of the wolves with Jalen And Rudy as well). They’ve got long lanky guards who can switch. Effectively what Chet is as well

Where are you going to hide Mike on defense then? That’s the crux Finch has to figure out if he wants to keep Mike out there and is part of what hurts to have none of our young guards have taken the next step

They also have a lot of guard/wing size (and depth). Their “size” is more they don’t play anyone who’s undersized and their guards can switch onto forwards and their centers can switch onto forwards. Makes it that much harder to put the ball to the rim and makes you have to defend better at the...

Epperson (OHL, from WI) to DU. He’s going to be a 2nd-3rd rounder. Good pickup for them

I think the trouble for sf is they’re in this purgatory of never being bad enough to where you’re getting that high draft pick to select a new qb and the league is relatively devoid of qb talent (the dollar amounts some middling guys are getting are insane). Think this will really hamstring...

There are about 4-5 teams who can offer him 40/year and still be under the first apron. Joy of some of this is it’s going to depend on if ownership is cool with getting to the 2nd apron and paying the taxes for it.

I would hold for lakovic over take a duplicate guy in zetterberg. Chl top dogs are new game and we’ve taken them prior (goalies particularly). We will see. I’m not optimistic but there’s a reason the blue bloods weren’t circling to take zetterberg. And it wasn’t because there wasn’t room

We’re already small and finesse based enough as it is. You already have mobile playmakers up front. He duplicates a role. This team needs a scorer if you’re hunting or it needs to buy into the role of playing tough defensive hockey. He’s neither of those at this level right now. Hea going to...

All things Players Coming and Going.

I was just thinking we needed more guys who were 5’8” and didn’t play the stretch run while having 0 points after Christmas. I get you want to sign someone, but this was not going to be a big mover especially when you’re bringing in Mooney who is better this kid as a prospect and would be a...

If he’s ending up at Kato, that’s probably saying something man

Is Darius Taylor clearly the best RB in the Big Ten?

This might be one of the most confusing “tier” rankings I’ve ever seen

he'll 100% opt out and look to sign something big as he'll be 31 next year. He's make just a hair more than Hartenstein right now. definitely think he'll fetch near 40 if he goes to FA, but might be at less years

Seems like a solid player. Chyzks connections will pay dividends for them for some of these guys

agreed we won so far. fleeced is a whole different word (not saying you said that, just remembered reading the article).

dunkingwithwolves is always biased. Hard to say we won when we're still paying out the picks. The bigger part was the vision pairing Rudy and Randle (who clearly cannot rim defend and is a minus defender statistically, but is better than KAT) and counting on the growth of Jaden and NAW with DDV...

    Golden State Warriors/Minnesota Timberwolves

if it was at home, i would agree. OKC is pretty formidable at home and Denver is always a tough place to play. Need to at least split the first two though and will have the rest advantage (though last time that was the case they came out looking like shit) wolves have also been road warriors...

Yeah Chet is more mentioned for the floor spacing. Theres a reason they play he and hartenstein together

i put pretty minimal stock into the regular season games. Rotations are grossly different and different players playing (we also beat them once when Chet didn't play). OKC matches up with us really well and has better depth. Would be a very intriguing matchup to see how the head coaches decide...
