    Puke

I texted a buddy during the game that I remember when Brando started as a scoreboard reader on ABC College Football Scoreboard show, and I wish he was still there. I think there are so many games televised that the announcing pool is very thin these days.

Brosmer is the best QB we have had in 20 years .....

I really like the guy, but he was very uncomfortable looking in the pocket in the first half especially. Not sure if it was something he didn’t expect the defense to do or if they were covering tighter than he was comfortable with in throwing the ball. Illinois had some athletes at receiver and...

What grade would you give the Gophers coaches in the big win over Illinois?

If Crawford had hesitated just another moment he would have made it easily. The defender really hustled his ass of to get him by a shoelace.

Describe the win over Illinois in 1 sentence

Still had 3 timeouts left with a minute to go at halftime,(comma) how awesome was that!!

Scoggins: Now that P.J. Fleck has a QB he can trust, it’s a whole new ballgame for Gophers

In fairness to Chip, Coach was the guy who pumped us all up on AK. He said the days of MN not having a drafted qb were almost over. Must be a heck of a practice player.

RandBall: An alternate universe where the Gophers are College Football Playoff contenders

If “ifs and buts was candy & nuts every day would be Christmas “. Just get off the Schneid and beat big man and the Illini. I had to check out schneid in the dictionary, by the way.

Former Gopher DC Ted Roof looking for his next job

He used to catch for the twins and then managed as well, quite a jack of all trades.

The Gophers have not had a victory over Bret Bielema in NaN days.

Is it time to admit PJ (and staff) can coach?

Thank you, you could cipher that pretty much as you wish.

Is it time to admit PJ (and staff) can coach?

Maybe off topic a little but has Fleck developed a “coaching tree” at all. Seems like there is turnover, but usually lateral moves.

    Week 10, November 2nd Games

Went with the Gophs, but Bret Bulemia scares me. Law of averages has to fit in somewhere right…right…..Bueller, Bueller!!

Brosmer really hitting his stride - 1st 4 vs. last 4

Could it be that his passing seems better, but has always been there. They are throwing more in early downs when they have typically ran. That change from the old normal, probably helped open up the passing game. There seems to be better separation from the wideouts as well. Darius Taylor is...

Gopher Ranking Thread- Gophers ARE NOW RANKED #25 CFN Poll

They went from 34th to 35th in College Football News after beating Maryland. Go figure, I did think 34 was a little high after last week, but still….

Koi Perich’s 5 INTs Tops the B10 and are Third in FBS Through the Regular Season.

He looks like a man among boys at times. Looks like Joey Browner out there, but he’s just a freshman. Fantastic get for Minnesota.

Who are your four favorite Gophers running backs?

Just to shake up some memories for the older crowd and maybe encourage the youngsters to check the old stats. These guys are from back when Ray Christenson on the radio was our access to Gopher Football. Barry Mayer Jim Carter John King Rick Upchurch I think there were 2 different radio...

Checking in on Big Ten’s first coast-to-coast season: Does conference have concerns?

You are correct, but I like to know who is the best, not who identifies as the best.
