This whole thing is a lawyer’s paradise, sorry lawyers, never ending chain of events until there are enough precedents to settle things down a bit. Probably 15 years? ….or forever
This is not how the seeding is, just what
I think the best teams are in that order.
1. Ohio State
2.Oregon
3. Texas
4. Penn State
5.Georgia
6. Notre Dame
7. Arizona State
8. Boise State
That’s the danger of a tournament vs. a crowning. You may get the team that came together at the right time vs. who had the best season. Neither is perfect, pick your poison. I kinda liked the old way(get off my lawn) there usually aren’t that many contenders.
With the 4 team bracket there...
This seems crazy, pretty sure no NFL team wanted him, or wants him. Why would NC take a chance. Maybe it’ll work, but I can’t see him dealing with 19 year olds and their parents and boosters, just seems like a match made to fail.
This is what I hate about these huge conferences in Football, how are you really finding out who is best with a wildly unbalanced schedule like that? Now, get off my lawn!
I was impressed with Arizona State, but I just don’t think having Boise and Az a 3 and 4 seed? Why bother seeding, it’s just selecting. Politically correct instead of looking for the best team.
I’m just not impressed, that said, nearly an impossible task, I think.
Pick the twelve, flawed as it may be. Seed the top 4, who get a bye. The other 8 draw for opponents and placed in brackets. It’s impossible to seed 12 without this kind of controversy. The top four would be seeded only for a bye with no particular #1.
