    Jefferson is Gone

No, I don't think that came up until after he was at Louisville. His leaving was all about $$. The one the U wouldn't clear was the kid from De La Salle I believe. Can't recall his name.

    Jefferson is Gone

Ben didn't have more NIL, but he might have been wiling to give Jefferson a much bigger % of what he had, figuring he couldn't do any better.

    Jefferson is Gone

Dennis Evans was committed to Ben until Louisville showed him the $$. Very possible the same thing would have happened here.

All Things 2025 Minnesota Twins In-Season Thread

35 is enough for a trend. Cleveland is getting pretty lucky and the Twins a bit unlucky. They will both end up between 80-85 wins IMO unless the Twins have a fire sale.

BT Powerhouse: Minnesota Basketball Begins New Era Under Niko Medved Amid Massive Roster Overhaul

One from Colorado State one from Northern Colorado. But yes I think it's an AI article.

In a small sample size, run differential is meaningless. Over a large part of the season is not. Cleveland is on a 95 win pace. You're not going to win 95 games with a negative run differential. The Twins are on a 70 win pace with an even run differential. That is also very unlikely.

Finally some good news. A bit surprised they kept Clemens over Julien but Eddie keeps messing up his chances.

You certainly can keep all 3. Just not sure they will. Probably depends on whether they think they can trade Correa. If they want to really reset and get some prospects, the most valuable assets are Lopez, Ryan, Ober, Duran, Jax, Wallner, Jeffers, Lee and Lewis. Of that group, I'd be most...

$22 million/year is team friendly but not outrageously so. He's still more expensive over the next 3 years than Ryan or Ober will be. I doubt they keep all three, so I'd trade Pablo from that group. I'd keep Jax and trade Duran. Buxton won't bring much anyway and is about your only marketable...

This had to be the last straw for Alcala. You can't keep running him out there. Stick Paddock or SWR in the bullpen and call up Festa.

Rocco's new solution is Larnach batting leadoff. Sigh. It worked best with Julien. Putting one of your only HR threats in the leadoff spot isn't the answer.
