It may be that there is a lot of talent left but that you also have to sift through some character issues with some of them not selected yet.

Not really. It is crazy that you see so many of these guys pop up at mid majors and do well. Obviously there are some known commodities out there that are hard to get, but I would hope Niko will do better than past coaches in this area.

Thanks for arranging it that way. It is great to see a team that has a present AND a future. Yes we have to keep them, but I am convinced that if a guy likes the coach and his future here, he is much easier to retain for the next year.

So far- Durkin, Omot, Crocker- Johnson, Viahhola, Turner, Grove meeting that description but Reynolds at 6-4 can fly and averaged 5.9 Rebs. Lot's of 6-3 size as well. It might be hard for teams to get us in bad match ups height wise on defensive switches.

It is too soon. That said, I agree with the OP. We have more size and more speed than last year. We have a coach that has proven he can take a team and develop them in his system in a fairly short time- as he did last year at CSU. Be ready for a bumpy start and a good finish.

I think this is Niko using his history of working with and winning with Stevens, Roddy, Evans, and Nicque to sell a kid like this on getting a shot at doing the same thing. This is what Ben did not have working in his favor, he just didn't have those success stories to lean on. I like Stephens'...

FWIW- per 247 Last year we go 6 transfers with an average ranking of 87 and we rated as the 86th best transfer squad This year we have 7 with an average ranking of 89 and we rank 46th- so far.

Devron Bostick for me. Watched him in summer ball before his first year with Tubby and he was amazing. Had a sweet stroke, crazy athleticism and could beat you off the dribble or go long. He was lazy on defense and got in Tubby's dog house and never got out.

FWIW- NC's best players were all guards. He did shoot an excellent 46% from 3 point range at Belmont 80-172.

I am looking to the coach on this issue. On film, which is the best any of us has, this team appears to have a lot more quickness and length than last year's team. That's a start. The rest is taught + of course the effort has to be there. Medved has a good reputation on this issue.
