Ben admittedly was afraid and didn’t want to play the patsies… that’s a fact..

Niko pretended he wanted to play the patsies and made two lame offers that he knew UST wouldn’t do.. and he got called out for it.. fact

Exhibition game and an offer to play the opener.. come on Niko.. Why didn’t Niko say we will play game 2 in the new arena or come to he bar? Which is what I prefer..

Why would UST want to open their arena against a Big Ten team when they could play one of the lousiest Patriot teams? Oh right. Wanted a big single digit win....lol. Big time excitement.

Donation was made on the stipulation that Army would be UST's first opponent? Nobody buys that. Opening up the arena with the Gophers would have been an event. Instead it was a game.....against Army. And nobody noticed or cared. lol.

Been a fan a long time son.. it’s ok to tell the truth they have been irrelevant.. during these times I went to 5-6 games a year… keeping the faith still have the faith… What’s my agenda? My agenda I want to see my two favourite college hoop teams play… AND I prefer they play it in the barn..
 





It seems like this is what fans want, so why not give Joe Lunchpail his tartar?

These seem a little mutually exclusive, no? There's ways to have a thoughtful discussion but calling the Gophers a shit program shows his true colors. There's a difference between being a fan with criticisms and a fake fan/troll. Roland is the latter.
 

In my job we’ve had a number of partnerships with UST in the part year—it has been an outstanding and rewarding experience. I’m looking forward to a Minnesota -UST game. I hope we wax them.
 



If memory serves me right, Niko offered to play an exhibition at the new arena, the official opener still would have been the Army game, I don't care enough to look up if UST exhibitions were both road games or if they did one home or if they went the secret scrimmage route, maybe someone can loop me in there.
As far as playing an official game with UST, quads have different standards based on home, away and neutral site. Most years it's going to be a low quad 3/Quad 4 home game. A road game or a neutral site will usually be a quad 3, could sneak up into a quad 2 opportunity. The other issue with playing the game at Penny would be capacity in my opinion, I doubt a game at the Grand or Target center would be considered a true road game.
If I were the gophs I'd schedule a game wherever, make a point to run it up and put this whole we are afraid of you bullshit to rest. Comparatively speaking I don't think the Tommies are as good as they were the last couple years so they'll need time to come together and this gopher team will have as much returning experience as they've had since the Pitino era, maybe Ben's NIT brought back more? Should really be no excuse!
