Appropriate one I can share from my HS HC - who was hilarious. Bonus if you have any you can share from your HS/college FB coach.

Our LT was nice kid but way to heavy and when we started practice, it was obvious as his uniform was too snug.

“Damn Kerry you’re so fat, now I gotta call and find you a new uniform that fits. I know, I’ll call Omar the Tentmaker, he’ll have enough fabric to fit your fat ass.” It was the 80s, we all laughed -including him, he was our best OL (All- Conference), and was forever known as Omar🤠. Everyone wins
 








Not college football, but my favorite locker room tirade is from former Twins legend Wally Backman (NSFW):

John McKay was the best.

- "He is not in a union. He can carry the ball as many times as we want him to." -- after O.J. Simpson carried the ball 38 times in a game (when at USC)
- "I think it's a good idea." -- on the Buccaneers' execution
- "We didn't tackle well today but we made up for it by not blocking."
- "It was about three-to-one that I was not an SOB. But there were a lot of ones." --on fan mail he received as Tampa Bay coach

If anyone wants a YouTube rabbit hole, there's a bunch of great Mike Leach min-docs and interviews from his time at WSU and Miss State, where someone just follows him around campus or his home on the beach.

I'm convinced he only took the Miss State job because it was the closest flight to Key West. Bizarre guy that clearly had a good heart, was definitely one of the last of a dying breed. RIP.
