I'm cheering for KAT, but what a damn cakewalk the east has been for the Knicks.

Has there ever been an easier draw than the eastern bracket?
 



Did the Timberwolves regret trading Towns. I don't think that was the best trade. In fact i think it was a horrible trade. Could have gotten better players for Towns. Congrat on Towns making it to the NBA Finals.
 


NY will need to win game 1 given the rest advantage. Upcoming series is going to be a massive grind on Brunson who has had an absolute cake walk the last 2 series. You slow Brunson and the whole thing stagnates
 

Knicks are rolling, but it's not because of KAT. It's Brunson and it's Bridges, who is shooting at a torrid pace.

I was a KAT apologist for years and I'm not surprised he is doing well there.

The truth is that with his salary, we would have had to drastically change our team. I think the trade worked out well for us.

KAT is the 6th highest paid player in the NBA this season, yet he's a borderline top 30 player.

For all the complaining about Randle, he averaged more PPG this season than KAT for half the price.
 



its a win-win trade

KAT signed his supermax before the 2nd apron rules were put in place as they exist now IIRC. Once you had Gobert, KAT, and Ant, knowing Ant was your future and would command a supermax, there was no way to have them all under contract and Gobert was coveted over KAT by our FO given what he supplied and his contract comparatively.
