Current Big Ten teams ranked by all-time NCAA Tournament wins 🏀 (14. Minnesota: 14 wins)

This is inherently recency biased because of the expansion of the field 40 years ago, but it's a good measuring stick nonetheless. UCLA's number is so impressive.

Can they get 103 next year?

1972: 1 (regional consolation)
1982: 1 (Big Ten champs)
1989: 2 (masked Willie)
1990: 3 (Lynch misses the corner 3)
1994: 1 (Vo)
1997: 4 (Road to Indy paved with gold)
2013: 1 (we own UCLA in tourney time)
2019: 1 (Kalscheur burns Louisville)
Well done!
For my own edification trying to recall the one-and-outs by memory:
1972: Florida State (one of the Iron Five fouled out)
1995: St. Louis in dingy Baltimore arena—H Waldman
Billiken point guard—fell behind 20-2 or some
such score;
1999: “G-spot” horror: Ganglehoff & Gonzaga
2005/2009/2010/2017: these four games are a
complete mash-up: don’t even remember
the opponents (2017: Middle Tennessee State?).
