I couldn't disagree more.
Sure, we're more experienced than them but that does very little to overcome the gulf in terms of talent.
Where's the gulf of talent? The Wolves were in the WCF two years ago and the Spurs won 22 games. They are likely a play in team at best without Wemby this season. They basically had the same core last season, added Harper, changed coaches and went from 34 to 60 wins.
When OKC is officiated fairly compared to the rest of the league, they get beat. The Wolves were also ahead of them 2 years ago. Did the Spurs and the Thunder change their rosters that much the last two seasons? The answer is no.
The Wolves should have grown over the last two years and didn't. I don't think this years team is any less talented than the last two. Injuries did play a factor in the playoffs.
I think Finch is a good x's and o's guy, but he's a horrible game manager, and his players don't listen. He hasn't grown the team the last two years like the OKC and SA coaches have. That's the difference.
