2026 Second Round Playoff Thread: Minnesota vs San Antonio

no killer instinct. Its a survival instinct. I dont know how many NBA championships have been won with a survival instinct

Maybe. The Wolves ran out of gas the last 2 years in the Western Conference Finals. Them not caring for most of the regular season feels like they have been pacing themselves for a championship run.

The Wolves didn't care last night. It looked like they showed up for a practice. Will it pay off in the long run? We'll see. I think they still win this series.

I agree with most of this but you have to be concerned that a young, inexperienced team like SA will gather a ton of confidence from last night's debacle.

Game 3 should be interesting.

Looking for them to shoot the ball much better, turn the ball over much less, keep McDaniels on the floor. Get the W

They could, but they also had to win last night or their season was over.

As I've been saying all year, when the Wolves play D, they rarely lose. I think we'll see the defense we've seen most of the playoffs back tomorrow night.

Ayo questionable
I believe it's a heel injury on the same leg with his calf issues. Some "reports" indicate he might not play the rest of the Playoffs but those are probably the same folks that said Ant would be out "weeks".

If its the same foot, he shouldn't play.

Bummer

Apparently the team thought ant was telling them to all get drunk pregame and not the fans.

Edit: ant has awoken

Ant has come to play. Anyone else want to join in?

This team not getting back on defense given what this game means is wild

Which team is either going to have another star step up down the stretch or have role players keep hitting shots.

Jaden and Randle have been MIA offensively for the most part. We’ll see how they finish. Target center is rocking

If Finch had any gameplan or control over the team, the officials don’t matter

Julius coming to double Welby and leave his guy for a wide open layup when it was 102-100 with 4 minutes to go was basically the game.

Also Tony Brother wanting to fight a head coach does not show a lot of professionalism.

This is our ceiling. We just can't score enough when we get this far.

Wemby is in their heads, also.

The Spurs will be better next year, while we are stuck in this scenario. It's kind of depressing.

The game was the first 7 minutes.........we had 3 points.

Just Hideous!
