How does this program get meaningfully more NIL money for Medved?

To be frank, win more games. Gopher basketball has/had a large bandwagon following. He won't get it before then.

I also had the same question about University support in the past and have asked the same question. As far as direct translation to wins over the last twenty or so years for Gopher basketball the answer is probably be willing to sweep things under the rug (Royce White, Reggie Lynch, etc.). The practice facility was added, the Barn is the Barn, are admission issues even a thing. With Nil those things matter even less now. Getting a real coach was lingering for a while but I think they've done that.

Beer tent outside Football locker room?

Apparently $14 million rosters are what it takes to be competitive

Find a billionaire that doesn't hate the ridiculous direction of the university itself and Minneapolis. Good luck.
It's not like the U receives $300-400M a year in donations...

I have the same question. I think that line of thinking is a bit outdated. New football stadium, practice facilities are in line with most other programs. As we've seen across the country, NIL is the #1 factor. Indiana just won a National Championship in football with a crappy stadium and crappy practice facility. Their coach was originally hired at a below average salary.
I have no idea about Indiana's practice facility, but their stadium is actually pretty nice (definitely underrated).
