2026 Second Round Playoff Thread: Minnesota vs San Antonio

I'm concerned that Ant is rushing back and could cause further injury issues so I found this interesting:

Jon K on KFAN: Not only did the Wolves medical staff clear Ant to play, but Ant also sought out an independent medical opinion which came to the same conclusion as the team doctor's.

At my stage in life I can safely say there is not much danger in me becoming a fan of the Premier League, but I do have empathy with your plight.
If one could succinctly explain to me what a premier league is, perhaps I could consider subscribing to four streaming services to participate. But I’m dense enough that it would not likely ever stick.

It’s THE Premier League, not a premier league

I am much too bias, but thought that could have been a Wemby foul on the Randle dunk to end the quarter.

However, that’s now two missed goaltending calls that go against us

Edit…3

Two outstanding defensive teams giving maximum effort—fun to watch. Wemby gets away with post-block blows to the head—Finch seems resigned to it.

Refs putting their thumbs on the scale per usual.

Would have been a devastating loss. Hell of a win.

They just asked Shannon about having his first two shots blocked by Wemby, and he said I ain't stopping and I'm going to keep coming. I loved it.

They finally figured out that if you get in Wemby's way, he can't block as many shots. That was huge in the 2nd half.

It just means more...

The last minute and the free throw shooting should have cost us the game but didn't.

I did not expect Ant to be healthy enough to be effective. I was worried he would slow things down while struggling. I won't doubt him again.
You got one on the road.....do you sit him and give him 4 more days?

See how it responds. If he can give them 20 minutes off the bench at least with similar production, go for it again.

I wasn't sure if Ant could help the Wolves to victory when he had only 1 bad knee.

Shannon has really answered the call these last 2 games. 70 minutes and no turnovers and those straight line drives of his are so difficult to defend.
41 minutes by Randle and drawing the Wemby assignment in the latter part of the game.
Clark doing the most with his 7 minutes.
Masterful job by Finch last night.

Set the playoff block record but,

Wembanyama missed all eight of his attempts from 3-point range, which registered as the most misses from deep without a make by a player in Spurs playoff history.

7’5” and unstoppable in the restricted area, but liked those 3 in this game.
