Going to come out for the third up 2-1, need to keep playing aggressive but stay out of the penalty box! Our boys are playing well!

I love their chances if they give up 5 shots in the 3rd.

That wouldn't be that big of a stretch for Dallas, over the second half of the NHL season only 1-2 teams have average fewer SOG than Dallas. They are at or under 20 SOG in a pretty healthy number of games.

They just don't shoot it very often

Wild have 1 PP goals with Mats Zuccarello on the ice. that how big he is for this team.

A bit surprised how clean this game has been. Figured Dallas would be more aggressive trying to get the Wild to take a retaliation penalty or 2

gotta love the refs completely inserting themselves into the game

Please get it done Thursday. I’ll miss Saturdays game if it goes 7

Some very pertinent thoughts of a Minnesota NHL fan since 1973 as 4 yr old when my old man took me to the Met Center. Still can remember the awe of seeing the random black, gold, green and white colored seats scattered around the building for first time with my own eyes.

- Even though not as wide of a margin, tonight was a bigger ass kicking than G1 by the Wild.

- The announcer referring to the Wild as "Minny" drove me nuts. Comparing a Wallstedt save to Beaupre was a solid attempt to get in my good graces.

- That final separator goal by Kirill was as pretty of an Empty Netter as you will ever see. Anybody that bet the Under at 5.5 would still have to appreciate that one.

- Norm Green sucks.

I would have thought something that happened in my 20s would no longer be painful in my 50s. However, I went to Dallas in 2018 for the NCAA Basketball Tournament.

In the rafters included Retired Jerseys #7 N Broten, #8 Goldsworthy, #9 Modano & #19 Masterson. It still hurt.

I do appreciate those guys are still rightfully honored though.

- watch on fanduel to avoid those announcers

- Preach!

I generally prefer the National crews (moreso on the Turner side than ESPN).

I couldn't get home until 8pm tonight so I had to view via DVR and then play catch-up. I was thus pre-committed and couldn't switch mid-game.

I was 11 when my dad took me to my first game in ‘72 at the Met when the Leafs were in town. Gump in the net took one to the forehead in the first and had to leave to get stitched up. He was back in the net to start the second. I believe he was the last goalie not to wear a mask

I at least remember seeing the Gumper in the warm-ups. Cesare Maniagp was between the pipes in my game. Unlike his Topps pose, he wore a mask.

I found the Box. 4-3 win over the Sabres.

Pretty crazy they didn't wear masks back then. Obviously no concussion protocol. What a tough SOB.
