Easy to be negative when the last time one of the 4 major sports in Minnesota hasn’t won anything since ‘91. I’ll always be a fan but it gets frustrating
Matt Boldy, Quinn Hughes, Brock Faber, et al have zero responsibility for 35 years of no championships in sports they don't even play and a significant portion of which occurred before they were born. Enjoy the ride. This team is very fun to watch.

Does this series come down to if the Wild fix their special teams before the Stars fix 5 on 5?

Yep, I think so. Move Brink off the PP for sure. Add Faber, Spurgeon or Johansson to the top unit.

PK, they need to chase their D a little less (which definitely worked in the regular season, generally) because it is leaving only 3 defenders down low and they are having their way on the sides of the net down low. Force more outside shots - just like they are doing to us.

In 5-on-5, we need to keep throwing pucks at the net. Need to keep shots more even.

Win more draws, especially on special teams.

I'm sure these are all in the works on these off days.

Zuccarello or Trenin showing back up would be huge. Their importance to their respective units can’t be understated at this point. Cross your fingers.

Zuccarello showing back up will likely provide a boost too. Cross your fingers.
Without question. He's definitely a catalyst worth more on ice than he is on paper or even eye test. Guy is super savvy.

I’m enjoying the ride but until they win a Cup, or heck even a series, I’ll always be a bit pessimistic. Just how I am

Any chance of him getting healthy fast???

Concussions know no timeline is the problem.

Speaking of, I have no idea how slafkovsky was let back in after the hit he took last night. Looked real wobbly out there post hit and went out next period

We should know more today based on practice if Zucc is trending to play

Thanks, not sure why I was thinking it was a different issue.

Penalty kill is way too lax. Need to be more aggressive like the Stars kill

Outside of Brink this has been a perfect period. Zuccy back has brought them life on the PP.
