Can I sue ESPN for advertising the game will start at 8:30pm and now it’s not gonna start until 8:50pm? Like what moron thought the first hockey game was gonna be done in 2 hours 30 minutes by starting at 6:00pm? I feel like England has this figured out and fans actually have rights to when games can be played and must be started.

Good luck with that.

Game is starting on ESPNU for non-Fan Duel North fans.

Fast and physical to start this one

The announcers have told everyone 5 times that Dallas can't afford to go down 2-0.

Damn Yurov doesn't bury one and then Dallas scores

If Erik Johnson could stop talking for awhile, that would be nice

Wild look better then Dallas after 1. Feels like Dallas’ stars are not even playing with the goal being a flukey bounces

Obviously can all change in an instant, but imagine hynes is real happy with the start

Could easily be 3-1 but Oettinger came to play tonight

Luck of the bounces. Boldy with 2 great chances he shoots directly into his glove. Positional saves, but in terms of grade As it’s a real heavy Wild lean and if they keep coming like that, the Wild are going to win going away tonight no matter how well he plays

Momentum all on Dallas side now. 2-1 Stars with an upcoming pp

How can Tyler Meyer’s do all the $h!t he does and never get called for a penalty. Guys been cross checking people all game and nothing. He’s a goon yet can get away with his goonery, which I don’t understand.

Wild starting to lose their cool. That’s exactly what Dallas wants. They goated them into silly penalties the previous series and are doing it again tonight.

People love to wet their pants over “physical” play but the dipshit Foligno brothers have given Dallas two unnecessary power plays now. Give me smart over physical any day.

Need more for the Russian if they are gonna win this series. He was invisible for long periods of the game.

Everyone take a valium. Two fluke Dallas goals by Johnston and a bunch of Grade A near misses by the good guys. We are ok. Hughes and Faber look amazing. KK, Boldy and Ek are going to produce.
True but can’t have Kap being a no show again. He was floating last night

series is a tough one for Kap at his size if they're not going to call shit. The number of times Wild players were cross checked in the back was insanely high, especially when then you give Hartman the late slashing penalty given there were at least 5-6 he took directly in the back, including some after the whistle.

If they're not going to call anything, we need our bigger guys like Boldy and Ek to take over, which they've been looking really good so far.

Robo, Johnston and Duchene (top players) have all the goals for Dallas and they were better in game 2 after being non-existent in game 1
The Wild have gotten a little more supplemental player support so far with Faber and Hartman scoring.

If I'm Dallas, I'm happy I won but worried about the trend lines. Wild have looked the better team for bulk of play.

Little worried about Trenin being out as it means Foligno x2 will continue to play like idiots thinking they need to be physical, and Dallas 100% wants a PP heavy series of chippy grab and hold play

Re-watched some of Game 1. I noticed a few borderline viscous cross checks to Kaprizov's back. Something to keep an eye on as the series (and hopefully playoffs) progress. That has proven effective in the past to chip away at his effectiveness by literally trying to hurt him (he's not a big guy, but he is not intimidated). If they go after him more, then I will trust our penalty kill to deal with one of our bigger guys targeting someone smaller on Dallas. When Suter took KK out a few years back, I was disgusted that nobody took him or anyone else out.

:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::cry::cry::cry:. It's playoff hockey, FFS. Not a figure-skating competition. There's nothing going on in this series that isn't going on in every other series.

We're in great shape in the series, splitting on the road, and y'all still want to whine and bitch about officiating. Talk about loser mentality.:cry::cry:

Yep, and Otter pulled a couple saves out of his arse or it's 2-0

did i once say, they need to call more penalties?

Some guys thrive in that style of grit/grind kind of physical series. It's part of why you need them on your team. It's a series for Boldy/Ek more than KK. Same premise of Boldy getting slashed down the ice twice than turning around and giving it back. It's not KKs game and his size is an issue against the size of Dallas' defense. Boldy looks like a beast out there right now which you love to see his game translate so well

Also, why we have this fascination of saying "it's playoff hockey" and deem it fine to cross check, slash, hold, throw elbows, etc. is confusing. you can play playoff hockey finishing checks (like destroying Trenin with a really good hit, which thank goodness they didn't call that a penalty) and blocking shots.

Regardless, as long as it's consistent (only reason for mentioning the Hartman thing is you didn't call it all game, just continue to not call it then), it's fine. Does give Dallas an advantage who can't keep up with the Wild if this turns into an up and down game, especially their defensemen. Just speaking to who i'd say needs to be "the guy" and I'd look Boldy in this series more than KK. KK would be likely more important in a series with Colorado, who's going to try get up and down the ice more

Dan cole Coleman has been doing the same show for 30 years. He is now similar as th old wcco radio sht pile of hogvik Lee and Ruth Koslak. Sht pile
