Still can't believe Isaiah Dahlman stayed all 4 years at Michigan State. Surely in this transfer portal era he would have transferred

He's just the perfect guy to bring in with one year of eligibility left. He should hit the ground running, and we can focus our efforts on three/four more impactful players with some dry powder remaining.

Well said. If Evans ends up being the top player we bring in that would be disappointing but he definitely seems like someone who would be easy to fit into our current system with his history playing for Niko.
 

















Nolan Groves...shot 23%, 11th leading scorer on his team at 0.9ppg in 23 games
Kyan Evans...8th leading scorer on his team at 4ppg in 33 games
AND, these are the two guys that will replace Tyson and Reynolds. These are the two guys we are focusing our attention on.
I can't be the only guy that thinks fubar?
No, Niko can make em both all conference....just wait!
No doubt Niko will make them better but we are in the Big Ten....seriously?
I hope there is a plan for 5 better guys in addition if we lasso these two.

I know! Worked once...it's almost guaranteed to work again...if you ignore 6'8" 220 and the two years at Belmont where he shot 86% from the line, 47% and 42% from 3, avg 16 and 14 ppg, and 6 and 5 reb per game...if we ignore that....exactly the same or wait, Evans is better! You're right!

Are you ignoring that as a sophmore Kyan Evans averaged 11 ppg, shot 45% from 3pt range, 85% from the line, helped his team to the MWC championship and a near miss on the Sweet 16 all while playing for Niko Medved? Then went to UNC and got lost. So, yeah, it actually is kind of the same.

I'm not suggesting he's the second coming of Bobby Jackson, but your negativity on everything is exhausting man. My god.

60's- We all want a star studded roster. But..... This is the U of M and we haven't had such a roster for many years. The good news?

We have a coach with a system and I fully believe he is going to get the job done with guys that fit that system and learn to play it exceptionally well. Hang in there. We are going to get good players and we won't know how they all fit until several games in. My bet is that we are better than last year. Niko has a better story to sell and a little more money. Let the big boys burn off some cash on guys we were never going to get anyway- then Niko will get players.

Give this coach 7-8 guys that can shoot the ball and enough size and depth to defend and we will be better than you expect. Last year Iowa did it with a bunch of guys that started in D2 and a couple of really nice frosh and a great system.
