For someone watching his wife battle stage 4 Kidney Cancer - you know the grueling days a person goes through simply for a chance to Live. Contrats to Dick ~ for his great news.

At 86 years old with the career and life he's led, and going four for four against cancer so far, he's definitely playing with house money at this point.

Oh that we could all have the grace, courage, and hope he's displayed if faced withe a similar situation.

Well said. Dick Vitale has made an unimpeachable impact on college basketball over the decades, but it's his character and benevolence that truly makes him a legend.
 

4 for 4 is crazy. Cancer has never gone up against anything like this before.
