Brooks Bakko in the Boat

Holy. Freaking. Cow! When we got Mikkelson I figured the Bakko boat had left the harbor. That’s two elite TEs who can be the safety blanket/linch pin for our offense for years to come. Truly new levels of recruiting!

I think he learned from being at Penn State that you throw to the tight ends!
Okay, If we do it will most likely be Shula's input. I've heard that Limegrover was told that was a big reason he got an early departure.

Limegorver is back? Who let that happen?
Apparently all is forgiven and despite being the OC ... it wasn't his fault or something.

Granted I don't mind him back in his current role, just interesting how perspectives change.

Impressive offer list. Hopefully he pans out. Got a few young ones with some potential

I love that these guys (Voss, Michaelson, Bakko) aren't afraid of a little competition. Love the future possibilities!!

That's a big time recruiting win early in the cycle for us. Crazy how well we're recruiting the TE position. I wonder if having 3 TE's in the NFL currently is paying dividends there?

awesome news.
when they get on campus we will have(assuming they all stay)
R-SR's Walsh & Peters
R-JR's Johnson & Simpson
2nd year guys Voss & Weaver
1st year Bakko & Mikkelsen

Love stacking those classes, and TE is a position that most recruits coming in need a year or 2 to put on the weight needed to play inline so nice to be in position to not have to force these guys on the field

I watched George Rohl, another incoming TE (2026) from Wisconsin, play hoops this past Winter. That kid is an athlete. 6'6 230 and he moved extremely well on the basketball court. We are stacking up the TE room.

I'm really starting to see Gopher recruiting level up under Fleck. Of course, nothing matters but what occurs on the field, but I can't help but have some optimism moving into the future. Why can't we be in top third of the Big Ten?! lol. LFG!
