For the final polls the voters seem to overreact to and basically base it off of the teams' NCAA Tournament performance.

At the beginning of the season, not me! But after we gave them their only regular season loss at home and after they got completely blown out by UCLA in the Big Ten tournament and we had two relatively respectable losses to UCLA, it makes complete sense.

Agree based a lot on NCAAT performance, as it should be, IMO. Still, interesting that Iowa went 6-3 against the other ranked BIG teams, and Minnesota went 2-7. Still think I would rather have Minnesota's season, but hard to know.

It was our undeserving NET, not the AP or Coaches poll that got us into the Top 16 in the NCAA and deserving of a 4 seed and hosting.

OSU, Michigan, UCLA, and Michigan also hosted... only UCLA, Michigan and Minnesota advanced... we deserved everything we got... so did OSU and Iowa.

Could we 'rinse and repeat?' Maybe not... or maybe yes.
