We've got Gopher basketball in April!!! And a chance for the squad to earn some nice money. I really like the format of this tournament and think its great we're playing. I don't want to make this an annual event for the Gophers, but as a springboard to next year this is better than not playing.

I wish we had JCJ back, but more so just happy he'll be back next season.

I have to think the first game or two in this tournament will be similar to bowl game, which team truly wants to be out there. By the finals, it's all about the benjamins and both teams will ball out.

Let's snack tonight.

Does anyone know off the top of their head whether Baylor has had any key players hit the portal and not be playing in this event?
 


I was shocked that the total is at 148.5, feels like an easy under with our pace and rust that everyone is likely to have with a few weeks off.

According to 247 Baylor does not currently have any players in the portal.
 






They have a 6’10” 206lb guy who scores 7 ppg and a 6’9” 220 lb guy who scores 8 ppg in their rotation. They play 7 guys.

Out of their 7 rotation players, 5 have played all 32 games, one played 31, and one played 27. Incredibly healthy!
 



Are we taking “Baylor Breaks” during practice as we did to prepare for the 2000 (?) football game?

Do networks not care about ratings anymore?

The ratings for this second game are going to be tiny as it will start so late, even if this game didn’t go to OT.

Colorado should be playing the second game.

It would have made far more sense to have had this game second. At least one team in mountain standard.
