Medved has an Assistant Coach Opening

Back to the OP, Warner had been a HC in lower divisions for 13 years, and was pretty involved in player development, scouting and obviously recruiting, as all coaches should be. Clemson is looking to him to "help develop an offensive identity".

In Niko we trust...to find a high quality replacement.

Coach Warner was only with Niko this past year....hopefully they didn't get along and so he left. ;)
I'd prefer that to him being the secret sauce for our sum greater than the whole achievements.

Coach in waiting for Clemson?

Doesn't look good for current coach when the press release includes this statement
“I’m excited to welcome Chad and his family to Clemson,” said Brownell. “Chad is an excellent teacher and will help me develop an offensive identity for this team. His experience, coaching philosophy and values align well with our program. I love that Chad has head coaching experience, which will help us navigate this new world of college basketball.”

"develop an offensive identity" sounds like a certain former coach we know........

I mean Brownell has been there for like 15 years. I don't think he needs anyone to hold his hand like Ben did.

Exactly. Brownell is safe as can be there. Just signed a massive extension less than a year ago and is the best coach in program history.
