Do we attribute this to the increased focus on gambling? Higher ratings seems counterintuitive to the way rosters are so fluid every season.

This may seem weird, but I think the NBA's shift to multiple streaming accounts (in place of TNT) has left a bunch of basketball junkies (like myself) watching more ESPN college basketball rather than paying for extra streaming services to watch the NBA.

Another factor. The Twolves have had at least 15 games move off their RSN (FanDuel Sports) to the streaming services - leaving me without a game to watch there too.

Sometimes, you just watch the "best available" even if it is not exactly what you want.
 

The key is that it's up across the sport because it only "accounted for 50% of live game minutes viewed within the sport."
