Former Purdue star and Vikings player (played one snap). Season ending hamstring injury against the Gophers in 2019 (in late September). Then a list of other injuries over the next 4-5 years. Wrecked his knee playing on his first touch for the Vikings in preseason 2025, I think the 3rd serious knee injury. Double Minnesota angle. Very sad story.

Oh no. That's a punch in the face. That sucks if he really went like that.

Great reminder, GopherNuts. I'm living it right now.

Just lost my mother-in-law (I loved my wife's parents) unexpectedly and we bury her next Saturday in Charlotte.

I’m really sorry to hear that. I lost my dad unexpectedly coming up on five years ago so while I don’t understand what you and your partner are going through, I know how heavy it can be. I’m glad you have each other and hope you’re both patient and kind with yourselves as you grieve. I pray for you guys that the celebration of her life is as healing for you all as it was for my family. Take good care of yourself.

Deeply sad. Condolences to the family. I imagine we'll hear more details and anything I write will be conjecture, but if one is in a bad place personally or professionally hopefully they can find the help they need. Moore was a dynamic player whose career was largely derailed by injuries, which is really too bad. He was a joy to watch when healthy.
